Terms of use

Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Save Point (lite.save-point.info) and its desktop app. By signing in you agree to them.

The service

Save Point is a free hobby project for rating and tracking games and looking up game stats. It’s provided as it is: features can change or stop, and game data comes from other services that can be wrong, late or unavailable. Save Point isn’t liable for losses from using it, as far as the law allows.

Your account

You sign in with your own Steam account and are responsible for what happens with it. You can delete your Save Point account at any time in Settings. Save Point can suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

What you post

You keep the rights to your reviews, notes, posts and pictures. You let Save Point store and show them to the people your settings allow, for as long as they’re on the site. Don’t post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, or that you don’t have the right to share, and don’t spam or try to break, overload or misuse the site or the services it connects to.

Connected accounts and the desktop app

When you connect an account or install the desktop app, Save Point only does what you ask it to (for example read your stats, or move and equip Destiny 2 gear when you press a button). Using those features is also subject to each platform’s own terms. The desktop app reads data the games themselves make available and doesn’t change the games or give an advantage in play.

Keeping Xbox up to date is optional. By turning it on you allow Save Point to keep Microsoft’s sign-in token for your Xbox account and use it, now and then, only to read your recently played games and playtime. Turning it off, disconnecting Xbox or deleting your account deletes the token. If Microsoft stops accepting it (for example after a password change), Save Point stops and asks you to turn it on again.

Games you play in the desktop app is optional and can be switched off in the app. With it on, you allow the app to notice which game you’re running from Steam, Epic, GOG, Ubisoft Connect or the Xbox app and send that game’s name and store ID to your Save Point account. It never reads or sends anything from inside the games, other programs or your files.

Other companies’ games and names

Game names, pictures and data belong to their owners. Save Point isn’t endorsed by or affiliated with Valve, Bungie, Riot Games, Blizzard, Ubisoft, Ninja Kiwi, Psyonix, Epic Games, Microsoft, Sony or any other game company.
